Basic Homemade Shoe Making

This is an instructable for making your own pair of shoes with materials you can buy in an art store or a fabric store. I base my technique off of traditional shoe making methods, but you won’t need expensive materials, a nice set up, or complex tools.

This method will also create perfectly fitting shoes as the pattern will be drawn from your own feet!

NOTE: It is more easier if you have your own shoe molds it will cut a lot of time!
Instructions are labeled on the pictures.

You can check all at Marikina Shoes PH I will just a little gist or idea here!
You can view the full instructions here.
Making a decent and home made shoes is quite hard for beginners you need the right materials.

Shoe skins (leathers, sythetic, etc.) rugby, rubber mat and cutting tools are important. View the full materials here.

You need to have a pattern and sketch of the design. Swatches and embellishments are needed to be sorted out.

You can view the swatches here and the embellishments here.

Be aware of the insoles and soles you will be using. It is also connected to the heels depending on the design.

View the full pictures of soles here and heels here.

In every shoe there is a mold! It can be bought by batches although it will take around a minimum of one week to
get them. You can also purchase second hand molds in a much cheaper price, plus if you will only use it yourself then you don’t need all the sizes. Laces, zippers and accents of shoes is available at the shoe supply. View the pictures of molds here and shoe accents here.

A little shoe study won’t hurt so here’s the shoe parts. View the rest here.
